Kaj, born and raised in Berkeley, California in 2000, is a photographer now based in New York City. Kaj studied Philosophy as an undergraduate and now pursues an MFA in photography at NYU.

Since age fourteen, he has been photographing with an acute eye for gesture and color. Kaj’s approach relies on photographic instinct and simple camera systems to make scenes, candid or posed, that resonate as sincere.
